Caroling with exuberance while the Campfire burns.

In the evening. During the beginning of time, primitive humans used fire, learned how to cook and avoided becoming prey from threatening predators. As a result, these skills enhanced the ability to enjoy companionship among each other.

There is something about gathering around a fire that makes some folks of any age or sex want to sing and play music.  If an instrument is present, people who know the words to the song can be found, and even without instruments, people enjoy singing around a campfire.  There is just something about gazing into a fire that people find relaxing, enough to find themselves wanting to burst into song.  In addition, liquid spirits are often consumed in the presence of fire, and this improves perceived talent. Fire makes a crowd a community and helps reveal their true nature.

Having a firepit on your deck or porch area is a great way to attract guests. Just fire it up and all of the people will just naturally come closer to the fire. It can be the center of attention for a patio or for an entire yard, for different gatherings and genres of music performed around the fire.

The modern fire pit embraces an irresistible ancient race memory, and provides an indefinable comfort and feeling of shared humanity, even at a Girl Scout campout. Was that the case with prehistoric man? (as well as females) enjoying songs round an open fire? People who were the earliest to buy fire pits created the idea of rejoicing this way which is good sign.

Which kind of fire pit is ideally suited for your own gatherings? A sophisticated copper bowl design for your fire pit and a glassed in patio create an ideal setting for enjoying your favorite songs all night. It will make a lovely backdrop for all those singers channeling Judy Garland and Ethel Merman, and everyone gathered on either side of the glass will have a good view and warmth, even in February.

If your friends like the idea of cowboy life, maybe an in-ground fire pit will work well for you, it will be deep down in the ground. An actual pit is dug into the earth, and rocks, or blocks, or even a steel ring is placed around it to contain the fire. This can be as primitive or as engineered as your needs dictate. Such a pit is nicest with a wide stone rim, to sit on and rest your beer, and its direct connection to the earth lends itself to country music and folksongs.

Kumbayah. The Red River Valley is a relaxing and scenic place to visit. A nice song in the night forges peace among people. It is doable using fire. Primitive men and females made humming and grunting noises to communicate, and today people can really make some great types of sounds to communicate with each other. Fire enabled so many things  and one of them happens to be growth of good music.
